I can sorta understand Corner Bear Skin Rug Guy because while tacky, some of his rugs could look flokati-esque from very far away.
I can even understand the Corner Flag Guy who sells international flags and Bob Marley wall hangings.
But Corner Tiger Guy I will never understand. Is there such a demand for giant stuffed tigers that this guy sets up shop every single day on the corner of La Brea and Venice? Look, he even has a sign and a little storefront!
So, DG wants to know: who buys these??? Well, he did have a customer while I was snapping away private-eye-style from the gas station across the street, though I did not see her actually purchase a giant stuffed tiger. And if I had to guess, I'm sure this guy shops here too.

Oh my gosh! I just drove by this tiger stall tonight and was wondering how he stays in business. I don't see anyone stampeding to get a stuffed tiger any time soon.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that his little tiger shop is a front for some other unsavory business dealings. What do you think?
Maybe he's selling exotic animal parts out of a back closet? Monkey brain anyone?
Two words: money laundering.
hey all,
who knows what's going on. i just think it's hilarious that of all things to decide to sell, illegitimate or not, it's freakin giant stuffed tigers! LOL!
haha! i think this every time i go by there. there must be someone, somewhere with a gigantic fascination with tigers. uh. ew.
btw, glad you're back! missed reading your posts!
